I could see mine was a little loose so a little over a year ago, so as a preventative, I put a small bead of black silicone seal around the entire edge. Use a smoothing tool and you don't even notice it. It has been solid ever since and given no issues like popping up or coming off.
I did the same. I had the re-calibration to 21" since that is going to be most of the year. I just used my stud gun and studded the 20". I used them throughout the winter for ice and snow with no apparent problem.
I took my Guzzi for service in the bed of my truck. I saw there was an EA charging station 6miles from the shop so no problem. When I got off the interstate I had 1mi remaining in range and it was 3 mi to the shop. I dropped off the bike and headed for the charger. Within 100ft I got a...
I would still like the ability to add a light strip/bar to the rear for safety when hauling items, like my motorcycle, on the rear hitch hauler. If they will not let us have additional signal light with what is already on the tailgate, then let us tap into the trailer harness plug without...
This is the same brand I put in mine. I like that when installed, there are no wrinkles as it fits very well. It is also very effective for reducing the sun heating effect.
Yes, it was one of the first things I did. The only difference is that they are stored in a cabinet in the garage. I did put them on last weekend for the first time as my son and his wife were riding with us on a trip. I took them back out afterwards.
Here is mine today. I have not done anything with it since the initial, except I added my house key right after the painting. As you can tell from the worn off anodizing, it has taken a beating and still works the same with the tactile nature of the UV glue ridges.
I never realized how much I used the odometer and trip meters until the Rivian. They really need to be on the driver's screen for an instant glance. Thumbing through menues on the center screen takes your eyes off axis and the road for too log. It is not safe. Please remedy this Rivian.
I have been carrying mine in my pocket with keys and a knife for a little over a year. The orange anodizing is almost completely worn off. Some day I will throw it in with other aluminum parts to be hard coated which should hold up much better.
Two things I use the most are the clock - located so far to the right on the main screen that the sun often washes it out. Also taking your eyes off the road, refocusing at a new distance, and off angle to the direction of travel takes too long as to be dangerous. The other, is a trip meter...
I have owned Subaru Brats and Bajas since they came out. As far as EV, this is my first four wheeler, but I have owned three Alta Redshift motorcycles and still have two ( rode in the woods yesterday on my EXR.) I love the RT1, it just suites me.
I have done this twice. I took my Guzzi in the bed of the R1T to Cadre in Cincinnati. There was an EA charger about 6mi away, but I was worried when it was at zero as I got off the interstate. I unloaded the bike and headed for the charger now about 5mi away. Within 100ft of the bike shop's...
I just swapped from my winter 20"AT tires that I studded myself, due to Nokia's lack of avalability, to the set of 21" I picked up for summer use. I had the mobile service re-calibrate last summer and used the same setting for the winter switch. Other than range calculation, it didn't seem to...
