I bought my R1T back in September (June 2023 build VIN 25xxx) and had no concerns with vampire drain. As I was away for the holidays I thought I would test that. The truck stayed locked in my garage with gear guard off. I am in eastern PA so the vehicle was in the 40s.
I checked the app once a...
How old is the equipment. If being say five years old leads to multiple issues then that is a problem because infrastructure shouldn’t need to be changed that often.
My auto wipe does not do a courtesy wipe. Maybe an option somewhere in the software or your vehicle has a mind of its own. I would expect most stay with auto or manufacturers wouldn’t offer it.
They did correct that particular issue by reprogramming the robot to not apply as much pressure so that plastic piece sticks slightly above the glass roof.
I could see $4xxx as the price since the labor (if four hours as suggested) would
cost them $500 and then parts - let’s say another $2000, which then leaves room for profit and money towards warranty reserve!
I am surprised by getting it two months early especially when they have specific week long windows barely two weeks ago. Not sure how or why I moved up.
I was told two weeks ago to expect my tonneau cover in early January but then last week I got notification that it was up today. It arrived and the packaging has been seriously upgraded with a thick cardboard box and two thick polystyrene ends to ensure the pieces within the bag are safe.

Hi, congratulations on your upcoming purchase. I am in the Philly suburbs and got my R1T two months ago.
Servicing has been mobile for me and the only issues were a couple of panel alignments (relatively minor). No steering/whee alignment, electrical issues etc that you sometimes hear on here...
The math is 2.44 if you divide miles by energy. The same for all the others on here - I am wondering if the energy figure is what was dispensed by the charger but doesn’t take into account the typical 10% loss getting into the battery. That would the get the efficiency closer to what is displayed.
Your cost of electricity is reasonable, the issue is the vehicle saying only 21 miles of range added. That equates to roughly 1 mile per kWh. There is c. 10% loss from the charger into the vehicle battery but if you get 2 miles per kWh the your cost per mile is around 10c.
I haven’t seen one that far. Around 200 miles seems to be their cut off but that is not a hard and fast limit if mobile service is around (like in NC).
