  2. Florida Sold: Best Charging Pad w/ Storage

Sold my Rivian. No longer need this charging pad. It’s by Adventure High Tech and is by far the best replacement for Rivians terrible pad in both Gen 1 and 2. This only fits Gen 1. Comes with two Apple MagSafe pucks. West Palm Beach - $100 https://adventurehightech.com/products/stowncharge
  3. R1S Dune with Michelin Defender LTX M/2 Tires (275/60/R20)

Yes, they are forged. I’d be curious about the weight of them. Did you happen to get the wheel weight when you changed the tires?
  4. R1S Dune with Michelin Defender LTX M/2 Tires (275/60/R20)

My R1T, quad large pack on oem 21’s over 5,500 miles averaged 2.31mi/kwh with average speed of 32mph. My R1S, quad large pack, on 20 AT brights on 275/60/20 pirelli AS plus 3 tires (non ev tire), over 6k miles averaged 2.5mi/kWh with average speed of 36mph.
  5. R1S Dune with Michelin Defender LTX M/2 Tires (275/60/R20)

Perfect setup! You gained the most efficient wheel and tire combo Rivian offers. Smaller wheels are more efficient. I have those tires on my 20 OEM brights and it’s 8% more efficient mi/kwh than my R1T was on 21’s. I have a feeling those might be even more efficient than mine with the flatter...
  6. New York WTT - Trade my 20" All Terrain tires/wheels with good tread (15k miles) for set of 22" Range

Smaller wheels are more energy efficient, regardless of EV or ICE. I had a R1T, quad large pack on oem 21’s. I averaged 2.31mi/kwh over 5,500 miles at an average speed of 35mph. My R1S, quad large pack on oem 20 brights with 275/60/20 all season pirellis plus 3 averaged 2.48mi/kWh over 6k...
  7. Rivian R1S Dual Max / Tires

No, you can keep the wheels. Go with Michelin 275/60/20 Defender LTX Ms2 tires for best range. Go with Michelin 275/65/20 Defender Platinum for a more aggressive tread.
  8. Quad Gen 2 Range / Release Date

Amazing write up. If only Rivian would commit to an actual range maximization setup and not use 22’s for a “range” wheel. My R1S quad large pack, on 20 AT brights on 275/60/20 AS tires (non ev tires) was 8% more efficient than my R1T quad large pack on 21’s. R1S averaged 2.5mi/kwh over 6000...
  9. Quad Gen 2 Range / Release Date

Did no one read the shareholder letter? It’s been out since summer 2024. Gen 2 quad is estimated 350miles of range.
  10. All OEM wheels now available as spare tires + new tire lift harness in Gear Shop

They do just sell wheels. I bought my 20 AT brights from the Miami service center in 2023 for $2,222.00
  11. New York WTT - Trade my 20" All Terrain tires/wheels with good tread (15k miles) for set of 22" Range

You’ll get a better ride and better range with 275/60/20 AS tires than putting on the 22 “range” wheels.
  12. California Dune Limited Edition R1S & R1T Unveiled!

Agreed. I’m not why most people are commenting yawn here. Sure it might not be what you wanted color wise or the R1X but for the money it is very appealing. 105,900 versus paying extra 3k, for custom color, 3,7k for AT package and then upgraded cost for two tone interior, which the only option...
  13. It’s 2025 — any predictions on when new Quad coming??

You are incorrect on range. Page 10 of Q2 2024 shareholder letter it states Gen 2 quad range 350. Gen 1 328.
  14. Gen2 with 21" inch wheels could break new range #s?

No it’s not that important to OE’s that they commit to progress. All they care about is making money. Efficiency doesn’t sell. Ugly wheels don’t sell. “Sporty” looking wheels sell because people like to think they’re sporty when in reality it’s just a car from point A to point B. Why is it that...
  15. First Everything Wrapped R1S (probably)

A pillar, b pillar, front and rear door frame, the top of the c pillar, front and rear door window trim, bottom of the side view mirrors and the roof.
  16. First Everything Wrapped R1S (probably)

Exactly, it looks better as a contrasting color. Black is boring and it’s there for a reason, to give the car some character. It ties in nicely with the wheels.
  17. First Everything Wrapped R1S (probably)

While the R1S looks good with a black roof, I’m tired of all manufacturers these days using piano black everywhere. More and more models are having less paint and more piano black. Bring back some color! Everything is wrapped in KPMF excelsior blue. It’s a very dynamic color that hasn’t been in...
  18. Gen2 with 21" inch wheels could break new range #s?

The ultimate wheel was the 20” from Martian Wheels. Super light and completely flat. Unfortunately they don’t make it anymore.
  19. Storm Blue wrapped in XPEL Stealth PPF -- photos

My R1T after about 5500 miles, lifetime mi/kwh was 2.31 at avg speed of 32mph. Large pack on 21’s with aero caps never removed and no mods. My R1S after about 5950 miles, lifetime mi/kWh was 2.48 at avg speed of 37mph. Now I have 15k miles on my S and lifetime is now at 2.5. So despite my S...
