i forgot to follow up on this but as others mentioned the frunk heat was a consideration, we decided it wasnt worth the effort and $275 for the new cooler to try to make it work. Ended up returning the engel cooler, put all our luggage in the frunk and used the nice larger cooler we already had...
Super excited to finally join the toyo club, I went with the Lt because the price and availability was right. i originally wanted the sl but the thicker tread was appealing. Went with 275-65-20 so far I'm very happy they look amazing, ride nice. Slightly noisy but I came from michelin defenders...
I cant speak to the issues you are having but I will say I have purchased 2 preowned rivians in the last few months from the same SC, and had 2 very different experiences. the first one was great my 23 r1s has been amazing no issues, the guide spent over an hour getting us setup and teaching us...
From my search all I really found was soft coolers and rugged road which didn't have great reviews and for the price doesn't look all that nice. If the rr was half the price I would have considered it but the engel is a highly rated brand and has a very nice look and feel, I just hope I can get...
We have a few upcoming trips planned with the new r1s, the frunk is a little smaller than I hoped and my cooler doesn't fit. I did some searching and didn't really find much so decided to take a stab. I found a engel eng45 that is a short 45quart rotomold cooler. First I will say it's not...
just curious what did Rivian charge for the set of burnish bronze rims? do you have to have a Gen 2 Quad to purchase them? i love the look of the bronze wheels.
We finally got my wives roof rack installed, I had hoped she would find a white r1s since the rack was already painted white, but she loved the Limestone, we decided to try paint matching the side rails (using rattle can paint match) since they were already previouslypainted. Unfortunately...
I would definitely shop around, I got quotes on my tesla m3 from carmax, carvana, and Rivian. carmax and carvana were within a couple hunderd of each other but Rivian came in $2k higher than either. I'm sure location makes a difference. I ended up trading it in to Rivian because we also go the...
when we were picking up our new r1s a few weeks ago at the CO Springs SC, our guide said they are very actively looking in to getting a SC open in NM and are very aware of the loophole (Private Reservation Land) to the laws prohibiting direct sales that currently prevent manufacturers like...
range impact has not gone unnoticed, pre rack I was seeing an average of 2.24m/kwh with 275/60/20 michelin a/s tires. With the rack installed for 1600 miles its sitting at 1.9m/kwh. It definitely made my 700mi round day trip, (to my nearest service center) last weekend, a long day of charging on...
Thrilled to report wind noise was drastically reduced, almost non existent up to 60mph and very minimal to til about 80.
We have loved our r1s so much we are actually in the market for a second for my wife to drive, and of coarse she loves the rack as well (the 4runner with this rack was hers)...
Ended up going with this rubber seal from Amazon, since my fairing is shaped different I needed a little different profile. I'll report back if it helps with wind noise.

Hello all! 2023 R1S owner, came from a tesla M3P and couldn't be happier. Im curious if the previous owner of my r1 is in this group, Its a limestone 2023 w 20" AT wheels, was originally in ABQ, I purchased it from Rivian in CO, im assuming it was a lease or someone traded it back in.
Install complete super sturdy I'm really happy with how it turned out, there is a bit of wind noise above 45mph so I'll look for a weather seal and see if it helps.
Well black it is, I have it positioned, mounts modified just have to drill some new mounting points in the rack frame and bolt it on. Doesn't quite fit as well as I hoped, it's a bit high in the front but overall I like it. Can't wait to take it for a spin and check out the wind noise.
