I don't know who you talked to, but it's right there on their site: https://www.hansshow.com/products/hansshow-automatic-retractable-electric-running-boards-for-rivian-r1tlhd-22
Video just shows it w/o the board attached.
@Redtiger since you are on here and a forum sponsor, offering my subjective feedback... there might be folks like me out there (and @JM. ) that just want a high performance dashcam w/ a minimal profile.
Part of the reason why I went with the Viofo A139 PRO. Though the A229 comes recommended...
Would love a variant straight to USB-C for the form factor and to match the RJ11 power output. USB A is so limiting, especially for power hungry devices.
I'm also in SoCal (OC). You were able to get those installed at America's Tire, and for that price? Which location? I would've gone there if I was confident I could get them to install it. I thought they were adamant about the 116+ load rating? Did you price match Costco to get that price? I...
That's great! I used to hit up South Coast Theater all the time when living in Lake Forest. Would probably be popping by the Irvine one if I still lived there. I'm much closer to the Brea Mall now and am a huge fan of Philz. Super excited about DTF, KBBQ too!
Density of the spaces and SCs is...
I read the Continentals were better in the wet than the Michelins, which means... better than the Pirellis. Dry grip, it was either equal or Michelins were slightly better depending on the reviewer. If I were living up north, would've leaned towards the Continentals. Might still go that route...
Assume a 1A should work? I have this sitting around that I used to connect up to my motorcycles. Also successfully charged up my Atlas and RX350h when those batteries went dead. Would just grab one of these adapters for it: https://webstore.totalbattery.com/product-p/gc012.htm
Got 21,400 miles out of the OEM Pirellis. Never used conserve mode and had two rotations done during the life of the tires, I do put the suspension in auto setting often but will likely refrain going forward. From the photos, every tire had the red range peeking through, some more severe than...
I think you need to first help yourself and charge via the tow hitch leads as others have pointed out so you can open up the doors and get what you need. Then call Rivian back and re-explain the situation. You are light on details, but it doesn't sound right that they'd just let a dead car sit...
They are pointing to a bad batch and have been proactively replacing. I had a service center visit for another item a few weeks ago and they added a 12v battery replacement to the list.
Lake Forest and Costa Mesa are pretty darn close together so given the concentration in SoCal, it's pretty awesome they are going out of their way to support customers. Hope it's enough for the R2 launch.
Was just at Costco in Tustin, CA (my local Costco wasn't authorized to service Rivians yet according to their manager; refused to use my pucks due to liability issues). Luis, one of the Tustin employees was super helpful. Tried looking up every combination of the Defender 22" tires (I think we...
In Orange County, I paid $650 to tint all windows and windshield (clear, just for heat rejection). This was using 3M Ceramic IR.
Think the better film might be Llumar IRX and Air for the windshield. Should research the different films.
Have any OC folks purchased/installed tires at their local Costco? I see in the forums folks in VA, TX have had success. Assume due to the concentration here most if not all of the Costcos in the area would be well versed? I tried looking at my local Costco's reviews to see if Rivian was...
