Only time I’ve had an issue with scheduled charging, is when/if you manually stop a session while it’s in progress. The next time you plug in, it will start charging immediately because it’s trying to finish the previous session, instead of following the schedule.
My bigger issue is with the...
Tested AP soft & Sport soft. Can definitely notice a difference. A lot softer on road an even noticed that speed bumps were less jarring. Nice improvement ??
Model 3 doesn’t have air suspension that tries to adjust every time you wake it out of sleep mode by checking on the app. Probably could’ve seen +3/4% by leaving it alone.
I’ve noticed that the air suspension will naturally deflate when parked over time. After starting, the suspension will try to readjust to the selected height. If you have a sloped driveway or ramped exit, the vehicle will continuously correct itself until it gets to a flat ground, then it...
I did a similar duration test during a vacation to Hawaii back in May. Doors locked and GG off at home. Parked in a secured garage with 70 deg daytime temps. Day 1 SoC 70%. Day 11 SoC 60%. Resisted the urge to check the truck thru the app, keeping it in sleep mode. I was impressed with <1%...
When parked, you still need to use the center screen to open the garage door. As soon as you press the brake pedal, the garage door prompt will appear in the gauge cluster.
IMO, AA/CP is a cop out for legacy auto makers. If they took the time and effort to develop their own infotainment systems to a decent level (Ford Sync for example), they wouldn’t need it. Stop using old outdated hardware & software, and modernize. That’s why they’re failing!
That sounds like legacy auto makers mentality to me. The point of being vertically integrated, is to build as much of your own product as possible. That’s why Tesla is beating everyone else. Eliminate the middleman, and get more $ for yourself. Also, by building your own product, you can...
I did a 12 day trip and only lost 11% charge. But that was in a secure garage in SoCal, with gear guard and Paak turned off. Most important thing is keeping the vehicle in sleep mode. If you leave it plugged in, probably set it to charge lower, like 30%. You can initiate a charge remotely...
