Just a new data point. Just had my GY rotated at 15k miles. All 4 tires are at 7/32. So not the best wear. Again running ‘22 R1S quad. Still much quieter than the pirellis. Getting lifetime of these tires 2.25 mi/kwh. Mostly AP mode for daily with 2 long road trips using conserve. Hope that helps.
Just an update... I have 11k on these GY tires 275/60R20 "riv" spec. I have a Gen 1 Quad R1S. So far still love them. Still overall quieter than the Pirelli's. Getting about 2.34mi/kwh versus 2.15 with the Pirelli's. Did take one long road trip to Colorado with the vehicle loaded to the rim...
Just rotating my Goodyears at 7500 miles they are telling me front tires 7/32” and rear 8/32”. Driving mostly all purpose around town and conserve mode while long distance. @B Digs is this what you would expect for the tire wear/ mileage. Still ride great and handle great. Some gravel road use...
Fun thread! I love it. Here is the STL everyone is still very neighborly. I'd say about 80% of the time we get reciprocal waves. To the point my kids get embarrassed. "Dad you don't know them!" I love it.
Done!!! Had these new shoes put on today. Just to clarify I have a ‘22 Gen 1 R1s quad. Discount tire installed them for me. 275/60 R20’s. My old Pirellis lasted 34,000 and were way loud. These Goodyears from a noise standpoint are a night and day improvement. Waiting the next update so I can...
Ordered my Goodyears territory ATs RIV 275/60R20s... Coming in 3-4 days to Discount tire and they will install. Here is Stl, MO quoting $1244 total or with their full warranty coverage $1414.
Asking my forum peeps...
Is that about what everyone is finding? They did mention they will add on...
Can anyone post an video while driving with the Goodyears so we can hear the sound of the tires if at all? I know its not a great representation but I did appreciate the video someone posted of the Michelin Defenders after they replaced their pirellis.
Great pics! How do the tires feel taking bumps? Trying to decide on the 65R20's versus 60R20's. The 60's give it a nice sporty look though while I"m sure the 65's will be super soft. Also how is the wear?
Argghhhh those look great. Just when I have almost decided on the Defenders M/S 2 65R20's you have to show me these! Looks awesome. Has to get better mileage than the stock 20 Pirelli's. Keep us posted about the road noise if any. My only concerns are calibration (hope option coming soon)...
Please keep us posted on the efficiency. Should be better than the pirelli ATs but I’m curious by how much too. I do think the 65’s look good. Not aggressive “chunky” like the ATs but it will work for me. Thanks for sharing.
Send pics when you get them on. Curious to see how the 65's look on the 20 inch wheels. Thanks for all the updates! I'm in the same boat and trying to decide 60's versus 65's.
Specs for the new 275/65R20 M/S2's are 42 lbs. So I believe 6 lbs less than the Pirelli ATs R20's. Should give some efficiency improvement but you would get even more at the 60R20 size.
