I guess I donāt understand the whole PPF thing. I had the rockers done on my Model 3 and still got a rock chip through the film, so that was my first and last time getting PPF. If itās $7000-8000 for the film, then thatās a lot of paint repair work that can be done down the road if needed. I...
Is everyone feeling confident this window holds for most of us or do you think it will slide back in 2022 or maybe even 2023? Obviously I hope it holds because I really want the Rivian in this window, or maybe even sooner, but just some confirmation would be nice one way or another.
The one I put a build order in on was ~$93k and that was not fully loaded. I HIGHLY doubt I would go through with the i4 or iX. They seem nice, but donāt get me excited and make me want them. Iād rather get the R1T, or heck, just keep my ā22 XC40 Recharge.
I think I used the Autopilot on my Tesla maybe 5 times in the ~20k miles I had it. I also have turned the Lane Keep Assist off on my current Volvo XC40 Recharge. So this does not matter to me in the least. I like to actually DRIVE the vehicle. Lane Keep Assist and adaptive cruise are nice...
I actually have Glacier White configured now because itās not metallic. My last Chevy 2500 Duramax was non-metallic white and itās a good color for larger vehicles. Hides imperfections well, looks the same polished/waxed or just waxed (less inclined to spend hours maintaining the paint)...
If you want OC, then Iād waitā¦.youāve waited this long already. However, if you like both equally, then Iād get the BM for earlier delivery. I personally have BM/white configured. The OC just seems too light for my liking, but I also havenāt seen it in person.
Haha. People born and raised here seem to say Meijer(s) a lot more than transplants. Weāre originally from NY, so weāre the odd balls on how we say some things.
For my Wallbox setup I had one line running from the breaker to my garage. I then branched off the main line to my two EVSEās. I ran the main line into a junction box then ran power lines from the junction box to each EVSE. I then had to run Cat5/6 cable between each EVSE for PowerSharing. I...
If you want 48A then they need to be hardwired and on their own 60A circuit. If you want outlets then 14-50R is one common type, but itās limited to 40A on a 50A circuit.
@Lonkyoung nice truck and congrats. Do you have a side shot of the LA Silver with the 22's? I am still torn between the LA Silver and White, but pretty set on the 22's. Also, did you get the off road package or were the tow hooks just included? I know there has been some back and forth on...
I had a ā20 Tesla Model 3 LR, but traded it in on a ā22 Volvo XC40 Recharge. The Tesla was great on trips especially with the supercharger network. The trade in offer they gave me on the Tesla was crazy, so I couldnāt pass up the deal on the Volvo since it was too good to pass up.
Are you load sharing on a 50A or 60A circuit, and do you have the 40A or 48A units? I currently have a pair of the 40A units on a 50A circuit, so they run at 20A each when both are running.
I'm also in this window and hoping it doesn't slip, but I guess we'll find out.
May 2021 pre-order....R1T, Adventure, white, BM, 22" wheels. I had R1T, can't remember color, BM, 20" wheels when I was given this window, but I keep getting told my window is still valid....so who knows.
For Wallbox PowerSharing you need to run Cat 5/6 cables between the units. They will not talk to each other wirelessly and must be connected to one another for communication.
