Hello all, Just took delivery of my Ascend R1T and noticed I don't have the nice brass lower seat trim shown on other R1 models I've seen on the Internet. Anyone able to comment? Normal told me I was their first Storm Blue R1T delivery.

Storm Blue exterior and black mountain interior

I ordered in June and received a call end of last month and supposedly will have it in 2-3 weeks. I've reached out the past 2 weeks calling once a week and I'll let you know what more I hear come Monday.

This is a lose connection in the coolant system for the battery. It'll cycle fluid and continue to in a noisy fashion because it's leaking coolant fluid. This happened to me.

@KubotaTed the R1T is a niche vehicle and sadly all EV trucks kind of are. So far, none check all the boxes that ICE trucks do. Size, range, towing, etc. maybe the the RAM Charger, if that ever comes to be. EV trucks are tough, but the R1T is more or less what a full size truck was in the 80's...

I would agree, but I'm excited with the bronze stitching and accents. Kinda something to go along with the wood. I'm just excited for the G². I 100% agree that the G² is the Rivian that Rivian wanted to make from the get go. Gonna be a keeper in deed.

Rivian investor day already did a while back... More or less.

65k miles on my R1T and I love it. As far as "the drive" goes ... Remember the R1T was the original Rivian design. The R1S a truncated version. I'm of the opinion the R1T is the best handling truck in the world, the R1S being great too, but not the pinnacle driving experience within the SUV...

I agree, but at the very least I'd hope the range would best a G¹ model. I'm still hopeful the G² Quad will get more than the 301 miles in the G¹ vehicle.
