Ascend R1 Seat Trim (Owners please comment)

Hello all,

Just took delivery of my Ascend R1T and noticed I don't have the nice brass lower seat trim shown on other R1 models I've seen on the Internet.

Anyone able to comment? Normal told me I was their first Storm Blue R1T delivery.

With Rivian individual product variation is pretty normal. Munro might have already modified the spec(i.e. value engineered) before your first one rolled off the line....

Can’t speak to this particular item, but when they removed the wood trim from the front seat hooks there was no customer heads up given. More likely just an early build miss in this case, since that is part of a new package.

It looks like you have it on the seat buttons but not the lower portion. I think it might be a miss, not a deliberate decontenting. Something I'm going to have to check when I pick up mine, I guess.

Yep they removed that and replaced with plastic trim.

Good question. Truck is getting wrapped and tinted... Don't know, but I don't think the passenger side has it.
