This picture of your truck with all the mud on the door... I understand Rivian has added some paint protective film (PPF) on the bottom of the doors and the gear tunnel. Have you noticed any paint damage above the factory PPF?
This has been one I've been going back and for with for months.
If they are adding a second layer of "armor" to the underside or protecting more under the truck (motors, suspension...). Like I said in the original post, if it's only a second layer, I can use HDPE (something used in the offroad...
I have been searching for images and info on what the belly of the R1T looks like with and without the off-road upgrade, and I can't find anything. Can anyone with a truck now post some picks?
I'm playing with the idea of replacing the upgrade skid plates with HDPE skids, or maybe not paying...

I was under no illusion that I could get a cooler into the R1T's center console, I just really, really like the idea of having cold drinks right there on long trips.
This small center console refrigerator is what set me off in this direction. Such a great idea.

I did see this talked about, but that would mean you would have to stop to access it. Even if you put it in the gear tunnel, that would mean someone would have to be in the back seat or climb over the center console to get a cold drink.
A little cooler that fits in this spot would be perfect.
I was looking at the R1T and thinking about ways to set it up for road trips and it got me thinking about that low floor tray between the driver and passenger seats. I'm trying to find the dimensions to see if I could fit a Dometic CFX3 25 cooler in there and pug it into the 12V underside of the...
