I can say there is a pretty marked difference between the settings in my Gen2.

Also quite a bit of diff taking the 20s snow tires off and putting the 22s with all seasons back on (firmer ride, more precise turn in).

But do you have the suspension rattle or clatter? No issues with ride quality deterioration? Still feels as solid as day 1?

Does feel just as solid as day 1.

I do have a noise left rear I’m going to have them look at - but everything feels correct and adjustable (thus far)

That's fantastic. How many miles do you have on your Gen2?

Determined to find a solution, I decided to “exercise” and “stretch” the suspension by putting it in Off Road Mode and raising it to the Highest level. I drove the vehicle for a few minutes at the 20 mph maximum speed, then switched to Performance Mode and set the settings to the Lowest with Firm setting. I continued driving in this manner for a few minutes before reverting to Auto Ride Height and Soft settings.

To my astonishment, this simple adjustment completely resolved the issue. The suspension now effortlessly glides over those mentioned scenarios like it used to in the old days
Just to add some corroborating evidence to this idea...twice now after my car was up on a lift, after it came down from the lift, the suspension was quiet and compliant for a period of time. Last week, for example, I was having the harsh/rattly suspension issues at the time when took the car in to get new tires at Discount Tire. They put it in offroad/highest, put it up on the lift, and when it came down it was buttery smooth and quiet. The same thing had happened about a month ago when I took it into Rivian service...they "couldn't find anything" and when they gave me the car back it felt good...for a few days.

It didn't occur to me until the Discount Tire episode last week that in both cases, the car had been upon a lift, in Highest, right before it felt good for awhile. Whatever's happening is probably the same thing that OP discovered.

Then at some point between a few days to a week it deteriorates again.

This makes it seem like we have to remain in highest for a certain amount of time to get the full buttery smooth result. I wonder if articulating it a lot while in highest would help/accelerate the process of reaching smoothness. For example, going over high/tough speed bumps while in highest.

I think gen 1 Dunlop airbags are a big part of the problem.

Can you elaborate? I have a 2025 so I doubt this applies to me but I'm curious what makes you say that.

My suspension doesn't feel great again today, lots of clunking/play in the back end. I drove for about 5 minutes in High and it got a little bit better.
