Looks like most of the trucks they had on hand were Ocean Coast interior, even the LA Silver. How did that combination look? I think I’m going to want OC interior but in case I decide an exterior paint upgrade isn’t worth the cost, I will go with LA Silver. I’ve been worried that combo would look bad, but maybe not?

Ocean Coast feels like a perfect fit for FG and El Cap, so if I go with one of those, I’ll do OC interior.

I actually asked two people this--they were pre-production prototypes, but as close to production as you could get without taking the car out of the hands of a customer (that is almost verbatim how it was described).

BTW, how was the infotainment? I saw a video that the maps seemed laggy, or was it due to low AT&T signal strength and everything else was snappy?

I played around with it and it didn’t have any lag for me. Very snappy. Maps looked great too

122mi with about half the range? This one has been driven hard ?

Dang they were running behind and I was one of the later drives so not only did the drive feel very short but we didn't get to do MT Rivian which this confirms it was part of the drive but we didn't get to so all the drives could finish that day. Oh well.

One thing I noticed and talked to someone about is you can set buffers on how much you want to charge it to. It was like 70-90-100% and each one had a description of what it would do to the health of the battery. The higher percentage was more harmful to charge to, so that may be why there is a difference on the range if it was at charge up fully.

I do remember seeing these beautiful aluminum knurled thumb wheels on the steering wheel. Then in person they were just plastic kind of seems like a space I would have paid the little bit extra for the nicer material because that's what you see and touch the most.
