So I rent out my R1S in a small all-EV fleet I have, have a lot of fun, most of the renters are great. This one has been a challenge but I'm pretty confident it's not his fault. But, he's still going to have to pay for it (happened on his watch), which, is fucked up. Help me see if we can get some clues from this and get this back in the parking attendant's liability where it seemingly belongs.
Guest checks into a hotel that he knows the staff well, parking garage is run by Icon for them though so removes the layer of trust. Stays there for about a week, car never moves from the hotel but is moved once in the garage (can tell by scene change in motion camera).
What do you guys think happened? Best I can figure is they crashed into a lift and then the lift fell on the roof? WTF? Could it have been under a lift in kneel mode perhaps?
Apologies for the cell phone videos, I can't pull them off I have that data port disabled from the factory thing (getting fixed tomorrow I believe).
This is from Bouncie (GPS tracker), showing each time the car was started. Renter dropped to hotel at 6:00 on Sunday, I picked it up from the hotel personally on 8/3 (today) @ 10:00AM
Damage under front passenger bumper:
Leaking CV Joint under passenger side:
Greece in wheel:
Pushed in front license plate:
Wheel rash:
Damage to roof:
Rubble on hood (note the pebble still on hood as I drive away from hotel)
Attendant wipes off hood
Big boss man hood (front)
Big boss man checks out neighboring lift after checking fron (side)
