I got access this morning but it's only showing RIT models, R1S is greyed out, is this normal?

Yes. If there are no R1Ss in your shop (which seems to be regional), the filter for R1S is grayed out. At least that's how it works for me.

Crazy... I got access Sat night and picked a Launch Green just after midnight (Sunday technically) and was asked to pick up on Tuesday but I pushed the pickup time to Friday (today).

Rivian Orlando said they had 14 deliveries that day. Back in late 2021 and early 2022, the Tesla SC here said they were delivering 20-30 a day. So not too far off lol.

I'm a June 2022 reservation holder. Did a first mile drive in February, was supposed to be in an R1T but the rep let us drive the R1S. Got the invite for second 1st mile drive yesterday. I've had access to the R1 shop for a while, just shows R1T's and no option to filter to R1S. See below.

Really just want to be able to configure my R1S, and until there are dual motors in the shop I'm not in a rush to get access to the shop. But, hey, if I got access I know I would poke around and work on convincing my wife we need 4 motors.

This is interesting that you say that! Is that within one week of scheduling or actually doing the test drive? I have a June 22 reservation but just got the opportunity to schedule test drive in July which I’m doing. Does that mean I’ll get access soon?! Desperate to get car!

After you do the test drive and if the guide who goes on the drive with you puts in a request to get you shop access. It's not an automatic thing.

Ok great to know! I wonder if there is some sort of commission for them if you buy it after the test drive. Will work on the guide when I go!

There is not. They are 100% commission free.

Nit: 10+ service requests submitted for panel related to functional issues, but nothing major.

The way they are ramping up production, I'd say yes.

Are you looking for an R1S or R1T. I think really good chance for an R1T, S maybe longer.

Apr-June 2024 for R1S, got my R1T a year ago. Got a call yesterday asking if I was interested in a few they have at Denver. Nothing close to what wife wants but was told I would get shop access today. Got a call today and a match was found at the plant, got my 8 step and a VIN assigned. Things may be looking up for preorder holders on old pricing as I ordered this one 1/22
