I suggest instead of a poll, ask people to post:
  1. mi/kWh with 2 decimal places (e.g. 2.05, 2.22, 1.96, 1.79, etc.)
  2. average speed
  3. driving pattern (city, highway, mixed, towing)
  4. weather (temp, rain, snow, headwind, hills)
  5. wheel diameter (20,21,22)
  6. wheel origin (factory, aftermarket forged, aftermarket cast)
  7. tire type (all season, all terrain, summer, winter)
  8. tire pressure (48 psi, above 48, below 48)
  9. vehicle (R1T, R1S)
  10. build month (printed on VIN plate in driver's door jam)
  11. delivery date
then plunk that into a spreadsheet and simple calculations will result in useful data, especially most efficient mi/kWh and least efficient, average factory mi/kWh, average winter, etc.)

~7k miles
1.86mi/kWh
20" Factory Pirelli ATs at recommended PSI (48iirc?)
R1T
Seattle area, most of those miles in temps in the 40s or 50s
Lots of short trips, only 1 multi-state trip, lots of offroading (last one is probably why mine is so low).

5k mile trip, first 1/4 snow and rain temps 20-32, second 1/4 rain temps 35-50, 3rd 1/4 rain tamps 45-55, last 1/4 dry temps 55-70

R1S on Dark 22s

Used conserve on most highway stretches and all purpose the rest of the time. Usually driving 1 or 2 mph over posted limit and using Driver+ on highways.

Average usage was 2.21 miles per KW for the trip.

Last 3,800 which includes a December seattle-LA RT with about 1,000 in SoCal with 60-75 temps is 2.21.
I also started turning on charging about an hour before leaving in December when at home

Approximately 7000 mi, Colorado, 21” factory wheels, R1T (data should separate R1S and R1T), average efficiency includes summer, shoulder season and winter (June 2022 to Feb 2023), 2.36. Was higher than 2.5 before winter. Most driving is in AP. No towing.

I just did a 300+ mile road trip, which is the life of my ownership. 2.02 on 20’s. But that’s with climbing an altitude of 5500 feet and coming back down and loads of LA traffic.

It would be interesting to see how this changes when the weather is warmer.

I suspect later models are more efficient than earlier builds. My March delivered R1T is nowhere near as efficient as some are reporting (same wheel and tire, similar road conditions) so one unknown factor is the build month and delivery date.

It would be great if posts about mi/kWh include the build month and delivery date.

I hope I'm wrong.

p.s. I just drove 220+ miles at 75-80 mph and averaged 1.8 mi/kWh on 2023.2.3 which now reports the R1T range up from 206 to 222 miles at 70% … given the mi/kWh hasn't improved, the 8% increase in range appears to be a combination of :
1) the increase in available battery capacity
2) some efficiency improvements
3) "algorithmic optimization" of the expected range calculation
(i.e. widening of the fictional gap between "expected" and "actual.")

Lifetime 2.33 mi/kWh, average speed 18mph, total distance 1,145 miles
Habits: mostly city driving in Seattle, with effort to maintain a large following distance and avoid regen as much as possible
Drive mode: always All Purpose / standard height
Build: R1T 20" ATs, spare and RUS
Build month 9/2022, delivery 10/24/2022
Environs: parked and charged in an attached garage, driven during cool 30s - 50s weather so far
Other notables: my alignment has always been excellent; I have used heated air, seat warmers and steering wheel warmers frequently in the cold weather

This is right where I am, as well.

Then again, I haven't taken the truck on any long trips and I am mostly driving around town.

At 7300 miles, lifetime average is 2.2 mi/kWh on OE 20s. Mostly surface streets with speeds up to 60 mph, but have done a couple road trips recently and that average seemed to be accurate with speed limits of 65-75 mph. Also live in Denver, so any driving involves decent regen on downhill segments and worse than average on the climb back home. Actual mountain travel exceeds 2.2 mi/kWh, but only in the round trip sense.

I'm at 1.79kWh/mi with 20" ATs. Built in April, delivered in May '22. The area I live in (south OC socal) has some hills but no mountain driving. I am always in all purpose, high regen, soft ride mode. Never use conserve mode. All city/highway mix, no offroading yet. Only have 2,000mi on the clock.
