What do you use your R1T bed for? (Picture Edition)

320 1x6 Spruce tongue and groove boards total between two trips, 52 miles each way, 70mph average, road like a dream..... and the recall bolts held, thankfully! And, i still got 2.1 mi/kwh.

Slowly little things are cementing themselves as clearly being a superior implementation when using the R1T as a work truck/hauler. Such as:

- The lower bed height is nice. It's easier to reach over to move/tighten things.
- The 4 tie downs on the bottom are ok, but the tie downs/cross bar connectors have been life savers. It makes it so much easier when the bed is fully loaded than digging for the strap.

Today, this made it's way into my new favorites.

Rivian calls it camp mode, leveling. I didn't camp, but that leveling sure helped with loading.

The driveway is steeper than it looks there. I backed it up until it would let me level it, then let it do it's thing. When it was done the tailgate is less than 6 inches off the ground. I anticipated having to use my ramps, even brought a winch just in case as I'd be loading it myself and I was told "it's REALLY heavy" (it wasn't)

This thing would have been a wrestling match in the F-150L. Even with it in lowest, the angle of the ramps may have been a little awkward and I ran the risk of this thing rolling away into the back glass. With it level?

One of the easiest loads of my life.

It's too bad I wasn't smart enough to figure this out when I was loading the tractor...

What’s the best way to transport a queen sized mattress/box spring? The same way you transport a roof top tent!

10’ 2x6s from Home Depot. Not sure I’d do it this way again. Worked pretty well though.

Good job all!! Looking very trucky to me! My old Ram 1500 had a 5 1/2' bed and this is slightly shorter, but longer with the trick tailgate. Should suit me very well.

An upright piano fits. If the bed was 3 inches longer the tailgate would close too.

The adjustable suspension made loading the piano a breeze With just 1 person.
