A Forest Green R2 is now on display in the lobby at the RIvian factory in Normal IL (spotted by @josh_harrison).

I think R2 look awesome in Forest Green. Who's been holding off on ordering until the color's available?

I like Forest Green! I also think it'll look stunning with stealth ppf wrap but i don't know if i can stomach $6k for that ...

I love the Forest Green. Unless it’s a bit different from the R1 forest green many have seen it. I want the FG with the grey birch interior.
I don’t like the sun roof. Dang it gets hot inside in Florida. Even the salesman had a hard time.

I just got my order to invite today, and it is still not allowing the selection of Forest Green or Coastal Cloud. It essentially leaves you on a waitlist until they become available. Does anyone have any better insight on when in August this should go live?

We’ll likely see new colors over time, but not anytime soon. I’d image we would see limited run colors and color swaps, but I wouldn’t expect it for another year or two.

Purely speculation, but I would think new and/or limited colors won't be introduced until the new factory in Georgia comes online, or perhaps a 3rd shift is added to the Illinois factory. The last thing Rivian wants now is to slow down production in their single factory.

Yeah it’s gunna be awhile. 2028 at the earliest for new colors.
