September-October reservation folks: has anyone been updated to 4-8 weeks?

I just got my "Your R2 order invite is coming soon" email. Oh, happy day!

I guess that means I'll get the email to order next week, based on what I've been seeing previously on this forum.

Next week is September! Congrats! No VIN over here still 10 days in.

Same. Or maybe it just means it is almost September and that’s the start of my expected window.

No updates for my order. Still Sept/Oct. Didn't get that email to get ready either.

As far as the DelMarVa desert of R2's maybe the truckers just don't want to deal with DC traffic...

It looks as though the average is 1 to 2 weeks after receiving the "coming soon" email. Either way, the light at the end of the tunnel is in sight for us

Sept/Oct window Day 1 reservation and the ability to order opened up today. Never got an email. Checked the website this morning around 10:30 for giggles and saw it now showed I was invited to order. Guess the email got lost in the ether somewhere.

I took a demo drive over a month ago and own an R1S, still says Sept/Oct for me.

I had a Sep-Oct slot but received the “It’s Time…” email yesterday morning. I ordered it with Catalina Cove, 21” wheels, black interior, and pick up at the Van Nuys Service Center. I was assigned a VIN within 2 hours (I had a day 2 non-owner reservation).

Sept-Oct window here, just got my invite to order yesterday (August 27, 2026). No "coming soon" email before hand though. And the time window never changed in my Rivian profile. I did a test drive in July. Got the text and the email to place the order in the morning. I'm about 30 mins from a service center and 30 mins from a Rivian Space. Hopefully the info helps, I hope your order invite comes soon!

While my reservation has always said Sept/Oct. I was still hopeful I would get an earlier invite with people canceling or waiting for other trims. Doesn't look like an earlier invite is going to happen with Sept only a few days away. Maybe i just need to check my account page more frequently...that should help, right?

We went from Sept-October to the "It's time email" on August 27th. Paid the deposit that same morning and was scheduled for pick up on September 8th. Everything is moving very fast.

I'm in Northern California, picking up in South SF for a Launch Green.

For reference, the original reservation was made in November 2024.
