yeah, my 2025 R1S max pack performance lease is less than that. If I get an R2 LE I will just buy it and trade in my Model Y to offset some of the taxes.
So as expected lease rates will probably not be any good for a bit. I did luck out, i think, with my R1S lease deal as they had a ton of lease incentives in addition to the $7500 rebate that was about to end at the time.
hotels. Why can’t more hotels have a place to plug in. I try to always go to ones that do but that isn’t always feasible. Makes traveling so much more enjoyable with an EV.
yeah i always carry my telsa and rivian key card with my credit cards with me. For my house, i have 2 doors with the keypad for a backup but do get plenty of warning on battery for the main door of the house.
Nice thing about Rivian compared to Tesla, I am assuming the Rivian phone key would...
just an FYI in regards to the model y...I believe they have removed the standard autopilot that used to come with the Teslas. If that is important to you I believe you would need to subscribe to FSD for $100 per month.
I added Ionna to my preferred charger list after that experience. I was impressed. My only other fast charger experience outside countless Tesla ones, was electrify American and it did not go well.
That's what thought as well. They should also have a setting for charging stops.
Yes, there were a lot more charging stops between the 38% stop that Rivian told me to stop at and my final destination. I had to scroll along the route and click each charging stop and add it, wait for it to...
Yeah, not necessarily I route I do often but a route that I know has a lot of good charging stops. It just seems the routing could be implemented better...maybe in a future update.
yes that is true. I tend to have both apps open anyways but that is a good point. I probably don't need my Rivian app open. The apple key will also still work even if your phone battery dies which is nice. Ultimately I think I prefer the apple key solution over the bluetooth app solution...
honestly...most of the little things that I would nit pick about, would probably not even be on my radar if I didn't already own a Tesla. If I came from a legacy car I would think everything was amazing. I think Tesla sets the bar so high that I am just nit picking little things that I think...
As a side note, we ended up stopping before we made it to the charger I selected for a bathroom break. We just happened to pull into a Sheetz and just happened to notice chargers their. They were Ionna i think? First time I have seen that and they worked great. Was also way cheaper than the...
Yes, that is what I did but is there an easy way to find chargers along route? I had to zoom out and move the map around and try each future charger to see what percentage I would be at. Then if it didn't work I would have to remove charging stop and start over. Seems like a pain.
Wish they...
mine is set to 10% as well. I have had a model y for 4 years so pretty comfortable with ev roadtripping. Love the big Rivian battery but still a few quirks and some new things I need to learn specific to Rivian.
Rivian now uses apple key or whatever they call it. It has had a few buggy moments when it doesn't recognize the key but eventually it always did and I don't think I have had that problem since the last update. My Tesla has been flawless.
One thing that does bug me, although I am not sure if it...
I have Tesla and an R1S (max pack) and the one thing that bugs me with the Rivian is the routing software.
however, this could be a user error so I wanted to ask the great minds here what I am doing wrong or need to do.
for example, I just did a long road trip and went to a Tesla fast charger...
