Dead batteries for days - 12V Swap - $500 labor?? -DIY

On my 3rd batch of 12V Swap alerts...rivian dropped the $500 labor estimate on me this time.... I've got the double battery setup and decided to get the pair from ohmmu and DIY it.

Took me about an hour and would recommend to anyone. Honestly disappointed rivian isn't using something like this or lithium from the factory. Hopefully these last more than a year in the GA weather.

The sodium batteries work like a charm for me too. I’m glad Rivian refused to give me a discount and wanted to charge me $800+; otherwise, I wouldn’t have gotten the Ohmmu ones.

How long have you had em? I'll be pretty annoyed if these don't last at least 3 years.

Few months now.
Also, after you’ve installed the Ohmmu batteries, go to the Rivian RIDE menu -> Calibrations -> Run All. This is needed to remember your seat positions, windows, etc.

Execute the calibration RUN ALL with no one seating in the chairs though!

Clear the rear seats out too if you happen to have anything back there. Like kids car seats.
