Had to disable Rivian Assistant and go back to Alexa because I was frequently getting “Rivian Voice Assistant is offline. Please try again later.” Alexa has its flaws but at least it usually works.

Good riddance Alexa.

I never had any issues with Rivian Assistant since its roll out. I use it all the time to make phone calls, respond to text messages, navigation, and I even ask it random questions and even math conversions on accession and it usually response with the answer I was needing. Sure there is an occasional hiccup, but overall it works pretty well for my needs.

Until Rivian creates an Amazon Music app people can stream it from your phone over Bluetooth.

If Rivian supported aptx or some other high quality Bluetooth format, doubt any of us would be using the Rivian Amazon Music feature. Current Bluetooth is awful.

Alexa is absolute garbage. Rivian assistant is lame but not as shitty. Amazon music is also junk, but marginally usable.

Amazon Music through the integrated voice system has worked flawlessly in all of our Rivians since 2022. No syncing phones, no extra steps, just sit down, say what we want, and it plays. For us, that’s a meaningful loss. If Wassym gets an Amazon Music app up and running the same day they silence the current integration, great.

If someone feels differently, that’s fine. We’re all the arbiters of what works best for our own setups, not anyone else. Rivians aren’t audiophile vehicles, but the Meridian system is miles ahead of the alternatives, and Amazon Music has always sounded great in it.

I was just cleaning off old videos from my phone last night and found a bunch of her being terrible. As someone else mentioned, good riddance. (although I do still hope we get native Amazon Music, Pandora, etc.).

Since Serius and Pandora merged, many of the pandora channels are available on Serious. Look for "Extra" channels.

Yes it's true. The channels are not named the same. Another clue is that the pandors channels descriptions say only music or continuous music os something like that.Only some of the Pandora channels are available. Really!
