Placed my order today. Esker Silver with Black Sand All Terrain. The webpage said 8 to 12 week delivery window. If I changed to an extra cost color, the window would have been 4 to 8 weeks. However, maybe its better for them to get a little more experience building them.

Made my initial reservation on March 27, 2024 and received the invitation to order on June 16, 2026.

I had a third test drive today at the Tempe Arizona service center. The guy behind the desk said they mostly had employee cars for delivery.

That's really interesting. Their fixing Esker Silver must have been very recent. But that's good news if I decide to go White or Forest Green. (If indeed I get to order before next year.)

They’re just prioritizing more expensive orders over others. The more options you choose the quicker they get it to you. Tesla did this too.

Also placed an order on 6/10 and VIN was available almost immediately. Still no delivery date either. In Austin TX. I ordered launch green with 21 inch wheels. Pretty standard config I would think. At my demo drive, the service rep told me (after looking at my VIN) he would expect it to be closer to 4 weeks in the quoted 4-8 week timeline. I am really hoping to hear something this week.

Same here, "We are getting your vehicle ready for production. When your R2 is assigned a vehicle identification number (VIN), you’ll be able to complete the purchasing experience and schedule your delivery."

Got my VIN Assignment and Complete Purchase email at 10:00 AM PST. Still working through all the paperwork stuff, so don't see a delivery window yet.
