The problem is where to hide it. On R1 it's hidden under the ridge for the radiator opening. There's no similar opening on R1 as the opening is below the front bumper. I assume they figured this was the most elegant option.Yeah, the frunk/trunk button bugged me too. Why not just go with a traditional pushbutton that you can feel?
