Woof, 26k miles? What was the wear at?
The fronts (a little extra time in the front as they started there) were down to the wear bars. Backs had a little more, but not much. I might do the first rotation at 5k , followed by 7.5, but not sure it matters. All four were ready for replacement.

Looking for some commiseration and convincing here. Like several others have reported, I am in the midst of a Goodyear.com SNAFU.
  • I ordered a set of Wrangler Territory AT tires online and scheduled the install for a week later at a nearby Goodyear shop.
  • When I arrived for the install appointment the shop said they had not received the tires and advised me to call the .com customer service line.
  • My email confirmation said customer service hours are 9am-9pm ET. That's a lie. They actually close at 6PM ET.
  • Called the next morning and was told they could not check status as the warehouse was closed on Saturdays. The rep promised to call me back on Monday. They did not call back.
  • Sent two emails to inquire about the status of my order. The only reply says "You [sic] email has been forwarded to the proper department and an associate will contact you." They have not contacted me.
So, should I:
  1. Gut it out and deal with the Goodyear.com hassle.
  2. Work directly with the local Goodyear shop and forego the 20% online discount code?
  3. Throw in the towel and get a set of Nitto TerraGrappler G3's or Toyo OpenCountry AT3 EV's from America's (aka Discount) tire?

I suppose I should note that I am looking for a on-road biased AT. Not interested in a purely on-road tire like the Defender LT/X or a serious AT tire like the BFG A/T KO3.
I just had this exact same issue. I ordered the tire through Goodyear's website last week and scheduled an appointment. I show up and the shop doesn't have the tires and doesn't have any info regarding why they weren't shipped.

The shop called Goodyear and they said they don't have the tires in stock yet nobody reached out either to the shop or me regarding that. So, I called the Goodyear line and they basically said get different tires or cancel the order. Absolutely horrible customer service.

I was excited to be getting these to replace the stock Pirellis but I think I'll look elsewhere now unfortunately.

That sounds worse than my situation if they are saying the tires are not available at all. I will say that GoodYear stepped up and made things right in my case. I was able to get the tires installed the week after the original appointment. And, they refunded me for the installation cost.

I kind of wonder if these issues are related to the fact that the Territory AT is primarily an OEM tire. Their manufacturing and distribution is likely geared towards large shipments to Normal, IL as opposed to individual consumer shipments nationwide.

It might be worthwhile to ask your shop if they can order the tires directly instead of going through goodyear.com.. My shop did say they could get the tires in a couple of days if I was unable to sort out the delivery issue with the online customer support.

Ordering and installation challenges aside, I have been super happy with the tires.

Any update on treadwear? By my calculations, assuming an initial tread depth of 12/32, you were previously averaging an expected end of service life (2/32) around 28K miles. That sounds fairly terrible considering other GY AT tires have 50-55K mileage warranties.

I guess I'm really hoping I either did the math wrong, or you've got more info, and the expected life is more than 30K-ish.
I’m at 14,600 miles and at 6/32nds, just above the wear bar. Definitely considering another tire for next winter. I’ve always ran Cooper AT3’s on non ev’s in the past and may go that route.

I ultimately went with Nitto Terra 3 Grapplers and am very happy with them. I think the GY's are probably good in many respects, but the abismal tread wear is a deal breaker for me personally.
