The base on the X3 50 starts at almost $80,000....
That isn't how pricing works. It is never a direct money conversion. Also includes 19% VAT.

For example...
UK - i5 edrive40 - £67,595
US - i5 edrive40 - $67,100

For example...
UK - i5 edrive40 - £67,595
US - i5 edrive40 - $67,100
I wasn’t suggesting that’s the price in the U.S. I understand how the U.S. pricing model works. I was simply noting what it costs in the UK, converted to USD. If there are tariffs for Hungary or wherever it's built, I imagine that would be added to final US pricing.

We have been through this earlier in this thread. Reasonable to take the GBP57k starting price and in absolute terms that is the USD price (tariffs included), so in this case around $57k (probably $60k but close enough).

Right, starting price on the iX3 xDrive50 won't be $80K, that's absurd.

The market segment, what we know about other EVs in the BMW line, etc., the mid-tier xDrive50 will be around $60K, I mean, it's right on the BMWUSA website:

Yeah, I was initially excited for the EX30 thinking it would be similar to the R3 but it was poorly executed. Too little for too much. I tried to sit behind myself and the rear seat was basically unusable. Sad to see any EV get canceled though since it seems add fuel to the anti-EV agenda.

The German OOS. I love Kyle and his team, but dude. 53 minutes of driving with German OOS peeps is exhausting.
He is a good reviewer and more watchable than some others.

Folks on this thread keep saying $60k iX3--have you ever configured and bought a BMW? $60k will absolutely not be a fully loaded 650hp version that is equivalent to the LE R2 Performance in features. There will be more than a $10k difference when comparing apples to apples. The $60k price will probably not even be spec'ed to R2 Premium.
