Can’t get *enhanced* highway assist to engage R1T gen 2

I’m currently driving cross country on I-40 (a mapped interstate) and I can’t get enhanced highway assist to engage. I’ve been using highway assist for the majority of the trip, but enhanced is never available. I’ve seen an error message twice over 2000 miles of “enhanced highway assist not available”.

I recently installed tint as well as PPF which includes the windshield. The tint shouldn’t have any impact as it is on the inside and doesn’t cover the cameras. The windshield PPF is in front of the cameras but is clear, and if it was an issue I would assume regular highway assist wouldn’t work. I’m at a loss.

I’ve tried it at 65mph and no dice. It’s on in settings.

Ideas? Bad IR camera in the rear view mirror?

I unknowingly had the IR camera disabled in the privacy settings.
