I've heard if you set your Tesla charger to compatibility mode your max charge is limited to 40 amps. Can you confirm you can charge over 40 amps in that mode?
Rivian seems to have broken something in 2025.38. Thanks!
No for Gen 3. I've got compatibility mode set and I started charging right now. I'm sitting at 48 amps.

Fix:
1. Unplug the charger (or rather step 0)
2. Turn OFF the schedule inside the car
3. Plug back in TWC
My R1S bypasses the 1 second of Unplug and Try Again message previously encountered and charges instantly now on Gen2 TWC.

Other observations:
* If you start with the fix above then turn on the charging schedule, charging still works if you stop and restart charging
Yes it worked with my Grisl-E mini charger too! After it started charging I then turned schedule back on which stopped charging and resumed successfully at scheduled time again.

For the record, I have the Tesla UWC, and version .38 is doing exactly to me what the OP and others see: what used to work (plug in before scheduled charge), now permanently (until unplug) goes red...

Thanks for the report!

I'm hesitant to change my charger to compatibility mode because I do power sharing with another wall connector charging a Tesla. I'll wait and see what next month brings.

So do I. It’s not an issue. The 6 amp power reduction you see is normal. See my Earlier post

Interesting I read your post. Since both of my cars charge after 1am I’m never awake to monitor the charging. I did do some messing around with it when I had two Tesla’s and I would have sworn that when one of the Tesla’s finished charging the other car still charging would ramp up from 24 amps to 48 amps fairly quickly.
I will have to do some charge testing with my current fleet.
