I got the update this morning, but don’t have a reason to drive anywhere today, so I will have to test it out later (Connect+ subscriber)

I'm normally one to point out the ingratitude of the bunches that should enjoy what we get.... But this time I must agree.

We don't even get the zombies and witches on the main screen and the pumpkins rolling out their doors like previous years? Low effort man. My wife was disappointed, and that means I must be too!

OK *UPDATE*. My son (almost 2) loves the update I guess I'm just a boring adult now haha
The update is 100% better with kids.

Download should have happened last month. Then activate the app so all have it at the same time.

Now we are lucky to get a few days to play.

I received the update on my gen 1 R1T, updated my phone app, I have the tile on the app, but I get nothing when I use it. No sounds inside, no light changes, nothing. Anyones else experience a DOA situation with the new feature?

Don't expect the same "show" with a gen 1. Gen 1 do not have the same lighting hardware gen 2 has.

Agree, the light bar will not be the same. However, I get nothing on the interior. No video playing on the displays. No sounds. Nothing. Hit the snake sound in the app. Nothing.. Hit a different theme. Nothing. The only thing I found is that the lightning bugs around the pumpkins in the drive mode screen image fly around faster when I touch the screen.

Soft reset? Another person said yesterday they didn't have all of the functions, until several minutes later.

Good suggestion on the soft reset, but didn't resolve the problem. I'll reach out to support to see if they can help. I'd probably not care at all, but it could be a symptom of some other problem.
