Inquiring minds want to know.

New England RAN locations seem comparatively sparse and widespread. There is only one location actually in southern VT. None north of that in Vermont. One in New Hampshire (practically in Vermont!) nothing else in New Hampshire or Massachusetts east of Holyoke. Or south of Kittery, ME.

Would like to know if there is a plan for more. Would suggest along I-495 near Chelmsford and also Wrentham. A bank of chargers at proposed service centers in Hudson, NH & Canton, MA might be acceptable.

How can I inquire and/or suggest?

Until RAN brings their prices down, they can kick rocks as far as I'm concerned. There are much better options everywhere.
Maybe for you, but some of us live in literal charging deserts with NO options.
A RAN is still better than 0 DCFC options.

My entire commute to/from work has literally 0 chargers available to me. While it's not emergent, I'd like an option in the event of a contingency if I have to charge between home and work. Now, I understand most people don't commute in excess of 150 miles per day, with the possibility of weather, incidents, and who-knows-what-else... anyway, I'm rambling.

Point being: while your opinion may be valid for YOUR use case, it's immaterial in the grander scheme of the world, because, factually, there are other people out there who are not you.

Tesla chargers at 518 Greenfield Road, Lancaster PA. with the 15/month membership fee, you're @$0.46/kw. I'm not saying it is the best solution, but better pricing than RAN.

That's where I live, smart guy.

I have an EVSE in my house.

I need a charger BETWEEN where I live and where I work.

Try again.

Why are you so angry? 😂 I’m merely stating I don’t agree with RAN prices, there’s other options. If you don’t agree, smart guy, let’s have a real conversation about it instead of your jabs.

YOu know what, my friend?!!

You're absolutely right.

I honestly have no idea why I'm so indignant this morning.

You don't deserve that.

I think your immediate response regarding the idea that your personal experience supersedes others' desires rubbed me wrong, but instead of asking for clarity, I got snarky.

I owe you a beverage. And a firm handshake.

Have a pleasant day, everyone!

We’re all good. My little town in North Carolina (Fuquay Varina) is also a charging desert, so I get the frustration. It’ll get better for us.

They don't care. Nothing you say will change their minds. Go use a Supercharger, they are MUCH less expensive anyway.

Although when a 'perk' of a recent purchase is 1 year of free charging....sort of moot if there are no charging stations.

This is where I was two weeks ago. It was only $0.60 back then, now it's $0.63.

And it gets a "B" rating.

I don’t find that superchargers are less expensive unless you subscribe. RAN rates where I’ve charged are on par with Tesla peak rates.

not Ideal, I agree. Do you find yourself DCFC often? If so, you may want to kick in the membership for a month with Tesla.
