OP said it was off the track, presumably even manualy operating it wouldn't work. I would love to see the standard cover that has been advertised as being able to fold into a table. At this point it may be preferrable.It’s official though…there needs to be a manual way to open and close the tonneau cover.

Some early versions actually had mount points for the roof crossbars in this spot. I'm really hoping that's what these are. But I'd be perfectly happy with just a modular/configurable rail stowage system.
