Rivian Fire Reported in Colorado Springs (No Details In Article)

Apparently this happened today in Colorado Springs. The article doesn't call out Rivian, but it's pretty clearly an R1T. Anyone know any details? Is the owner in here?

When I read the title my first thought was Kyle from Out of Spec is going to have 3 hours of video now that his Gen2 caught fire.

Unclear, but the fact that they were only on scene for an hour certainly makes it seem like the main battery may not have been involved. But then it's even more curious what happened. Thankfully there haven't been many stories of Rivians catching fire...only other one I can think of off-hand is the one where the charge port seemed to catch fire while at an EA station. But that one may have just been crud in the plug or something similar. This one looks like it was just parked. Maybe something being carried in the vehicle caught fire and torched the interior?

Great point. “EV fires” can also be plain old human stupidity.

Rivian did have a fire in the parking lot at the factory last year that destroyed 57 vehicles, but I agree we don't seem to see many stories about Rivians on fire.
