I have the iON evo AS SUV 255/45R19 on my 2020 MY too. Been happy with them.

Interesting they make a 21” too…

I put the iON SUV tires on my Mach-e and they improved highway efficiency by 7% over the OEM tires. They handled well in snow and rain, but due to lower rolling resistance, they were a little more slippery. Not dangerous by any measure, but just something to keep in mind. Lower rolling resistance almost always means lower traction.

They were great tires and these are at the top of my list for when my T needs new tires.

Would be nice to have a third option for the 21"s..... but I can't find a seller that actually lists that tire, even the ones that Hankook themselves says stocks them. Very weird...

The Hankook should work; judging by specs. 21” is just an odd size. Still only two options: Pirelli Verde and Michelin Defender M/S2.

It’s nice that they have 21” tires but my review shows that they don’t have any that would work for a rivian based on side profile alone. Am I missing something. Is anyone checking weight and speed ratings too?

@Carscott looks like models were a little buried, and 45 max load really low:

The ones that Hankook has spec'd that WOULD work for a Rivian aren't the ion evo line, but the ion HT... The one that the OP actually linked in the initial post.. I just can't seem to find them on any tire shop's site.

Ah yes. Looks like another 21” option.

275/55R21.

Speed rating of H but no load rating in specs.

iON HT 275/55R21 XL - Coming in August.

Built for Light Trucks, has a Ford Lightning in the promo pic and is their only result when searching by Rivian R1T.
Press release I’ll try to chase down the load rating.
