Disable Sharing Status Animation in Mobile App with Other Drivers

Good Evening -

Is there a way to stop sharing the status of my Rivian (Parked, Charging, Operating, Etc) on the mobile app with other drivers on my account? To be more specific, this is the animated Rivian one sees on the main page of the app.

Pretty sure there’s no way to hide the vehicle status in the app right now, unfortunately. The only workaround I know of is to give other drivers a fob or key card and remove their Phone as a Key access. That way they can still drive the vehicle, but won’t see its status or location in the app.

Rivian really should be more accommodating to people who want to lie to their wife about being at work when they are on their way to their girlfriend's place. Or people who want to claim they are on their way and stuck in traffic when they haven't left yet.

Unfortunately the only option is to stop lying or take away their (digital) keys.

That prevents your wife from showing up and confronting you at your girlfriend's address but it doesn't hide the fact that you are driving around when you claim to be parked at the office.

The OP doesn't just want to hide the location, they want to hide the parked vs driving status.
