Mine randomly started working yesterday afternoon. I did restart the infotainment system before I got out of the vehicle at work, restarted my phone before returning and then someone texted me and got a little alert in the bottom left corner of the driver screen. No idea if any of those steps...
Experiencing exact same issues. Can send but not receive and the messages screen doesnāt display prior messages. Using an iPhone 17 pro. Has anyone with an android had success? Curious if this is isolated to iPhone only.
Iāve found it cannot find and play any of my Spotify playlists. Iāll give it a very specific name and context āplay MY Spotify playlist called Seanās Rush Hour Playlistā and it will find some random playlist that doesnāt even have a similar name.
For navigation test, I asked it to give me...
Iāve got the opposite. Mine wonāt turn off. Manual mode, motion detection mode, if itās on in the app, it just rocks out and throws a continuous rager so I unfortunately have to leave it disabled.
It would appear he followed rules 1-4 and you are borderline breaking rule 5. Maybe not be a douche and tell him what rule he broke and be a helpful community member?
My driver display does something similar from time to time but itās 4-5 human figures, stumbling around and quickly reversing directions, all converging on my garage like a zombie apocalypse. Will have to snap a pic next time.
Tire Rack doesnāt do warranty service themselves. If you ever have an issue, you go to an authorized dealer for the tire brand (Michelin, Pirelli, etc.) and theyāll process the warranty using your Tire Rack invoice + the DOT code off the tire. If you bought the Road Hazard plan, thatās handled...
True, but society hasnāt changed that much ā stuff left unattended in public has always had a way of disappearing. The real difference these days is we get to bitch about our own mistakes on the internet and call it a societal collapse.
As a fellow ADDer, I second this suggestion as I myself keep my adapter in a bright, neon color that I hate, bag. Itās saved me at least twice now on road trips where I wouldāve left the adapter after unplugging. (Also, Airtag use is key if you forget things like I doāyou get pinged on your...
Sorry that happened, losing an adapter sucks. But honestly once you leave one at a public charger itās like sunglasses at the beach ā pretty much gone. Putting a label with your phone # or email on the new adapter might help with getting it returned in the future.
Not really something Rivian...
Pretty sure thereās no way to hide the vehicle status in the app right now, unfortunately. The only workaround I know of is to give other drivers a fob or key card and remove their Phone as a Key access. That way they can still drive the vehicle, but wonāt see its status or location in the app.
Mine failed this morning and then said it installed the previous 18.30 version instead. Was odd. I went to Rivianās website, signed on, went to support chat and they pushed a fresh OTA update to my vehicle and it installed properly second try. Tried to do it from the app but just got an AI...
ā86 4Runner. Still his daily driver (heās 79 so not driven much but I borrow it when I visit). Stick shift, manual windows besides the rear drop window, most basic of the basic model they had at the time. I still remember him haggling over the $12k price at the time. Heās been offered well more...
I could second that. Iām a newbie Gen 2 Riv guy, but my 2017 4Runner TRD-P never let me down mechanically. I also was able to sell it privately for a couple hundo more than I paid originally 8 years later, which is insane, so they definitely hold their value. It just didnāt have the tech ie...
