I’m a big fan of baseball glove leather. Not sure if that’s doable in vegan.

Leasing Model 3 until R3X comes out, but now I have an R2 reservation as well.

Haha. Probably not the smell, but they could definitely imitate the color. I like the idea of a warmer interior vs. stark white.

Yes. Interior should be available in some earthy tones, preferably a tan or saddle brown.

What do you think of the turning radius that the car shows in the 2nd video of the original post?

I think that's pretty wide and I hope that the diver didn't turn in the steering wheel all the way. I hope that a U-Turn over two lanes and one bus bay will be possible.

I think most of the showroom vehicles are early prototypes and are not really reflective of the final production model or even the testing mules. Luckily everything still seems on track for release in 2026.

Reading far too much into it. You don't know if it was even at or near full steering lock. And @Gen(R3)Xer is right. It's a display prototype. Not even a pre-production (what has been assembled recently in Irvine HQ) or production candidate (the next phase). What is shown in this thread is the same display prototype that was originally shown at Laguna Beach concept reveal event, just repaired and refinished in a different color.

In the car industry, if drivable, it's common for display prototypes to have just enough to roll around on its own power at very low speeds and for short distances. And most of the in-vehicle displays are mock-ups only (basically a slide show presentation with limited interactivity).
