Since the 2025.18.01 update I have noticed that while charging at home using the EVSE that comes with the vehicle it shows as charging lower/slower.

I used to see 7.6kW in the app, the max listed in the specs.

After the update I was seeing 7kW, and after power cycling the unit getting 7.3kW app and vehicle.

It’s plugged into a quality NEMA 14-50, and the car shows it at 34A (despite specs saying max 32A).

Anyone else seeing similar? Perhaps it’s now more accurate on what is actually making it to the battery vs. running the vehicle?

Next step it to test with my Tesla EVSE on the same plug.

I charge at home with the 120v plug and I haven't noticed any change. I updated on Saturday 6/7. My sessions since appear similar to the sessions prior...

If you're using the portable charger long-term, here's one thing to check:
The short adapter cable that goes between the body of your portable charger and the wall outlet could be pulling out from the body of the portable charger. You have to make sure you don't hang the weight of the portable charger off the wall outlet, or that cable will pull out eventually. There are hang points on the back of the charger body so you can hang it on screws in your wall. Or, what I do at campsites is to bungee it to the charging post so that the bungees carry the weight.

I also use the portable charger at home on a 120V outlet also. What power level are you achieving?

you can figure out the power level by multiplying the voltage by the amps (i.e. 120v X 15amps = 1,800w or 1.8Kw). So, the amount you can get on 120V will depend on how many amps the particular outlet can handle. Most typical household outlets are between 15-20amps

It’s pretty slow - typically I get 1.5-2.5kW speeds (1-3 miles per hour). It works fine for me since I work from home most weeks so it can stay parked for days at a time. And I have lots of DCFC charging near me if I need it.
