Your timing is good, I am looking over everything since it renews next month, when I'll have had it for a year. This is Progressive, everyone else was higher.

I am shopping for a new insurance plan for my 2023 R1T...how much do you pay for insurance and which company do you use?

When I got my 2022 R1T the cost of insuring it was $1100/year (Mapfre - see policy details below). In 40 years of driving, I've never caused an accident or had other issues that would drive up my premium. In December 2024 someone ran into my (parked) R1T and destroyed it. Mapfre eventually paid for a similar age/miles R1T and said they would recover the money from the guy who hit me (insured by Allstate). I was told that my premium would not go up because the accident wasn't my fault. Then, a week after the delivery of my new R1T I was sent a premium adjustment bring my insurance up to $2400/year, more than double! The difference in the cost between a 2022 and 2023 used R1T (with same specs) was only $5000. Clearly I'm being punished for an accident that wasn't my fault and I'm not inclined to keep this policy. Curious what eveyone else is paying and what the best company is. (I'm located in MA)

OMG, that is such an outrageous, eggregiously absurd insurance cost in my view. And you still keep what seems dangerously low coverage for some aspects thus leaving you liable.
Auto insurance shot up in my neck of the woods last renewal. It does not matter if you have a stellar driving record. Insurance companies will jack up rates across the board to cover their losses/claims. It is what they do best.
I myself am purposely way overinsured (500k limits) and even carry an umbrella policy to protect me from all liability. But my auto insurance even after the $500 renewal markup was even less than half what you are paying and for 6 months. It worked out to about $650 every 6 months for my R1S with a 1k deductible, and I even have full glass coverage with no deductble. No other insurance co. comes close to matching that.

Our total annual premium (just paid yesterday) for both the R1T and R1S is $3,070 with USAA, providing nearly identical coverage—including a $500 deductible and free glass replacement.

For reference:
? R1T: $1,580/year
? R1S: $1,490/year

$2800/yr 2024 R1T bay area 27 yrs of driving exp All State. @iamnid whose your carrier and where are you located in California?
I'm in the SoCal - Inland Empire. The $190 is with State Farm after many discounts (homeowner's insurance bundled etc). Initially, I tried Rivian Insurance and they wanted $290/month.

I checked what my insurance cost would have been for 6 months at renewal last December: $715.00 total:
Liability $500k, medical payments each person, uninsured each accident $130
Damage to auto, ACV, less $1k deductible $205
Other than collision loss (ACV less $1k deductible) $161
Full safety glass coverage $111
Uninsured/underinsured $500k each accident $96
$10k basic injury protection (don't need) $12
No towing (have AAA), no rental (don't need one), garaged always.

Amica.

Total insurance for my three EVs and old ICE SUV would have come to $4,800 a year. Pay that much just so I could go eeny meeny miny moe which car to drive today decided was nuts, insane, crazy. Decided to keep 2 in storage with minimal coverage and two fully insured at any time. Cut my auto insurance down to $2,600 a year.

I'm at $1,600/annually in Washington State with Farmers for slightly better coverage (main thing is my coverage would replace with a new car, even if the cost of the new car has risen since I bought the truck in 2023). I'm very rural with low crime which probably helps quite a bit.
