Yesterday was One of Those Days™ where a simple 25 minute errand involved multiple instances of being cut off, brake checked, or almost-swerved-into.

I had to absolutely lay on the horn 3 times.

By the end of the 3rd I was analyzing the qualities of my little Volvo's horn.

Adequately loud, decent multi-tonality. A bit too much treble and midrange, not enough bass.
Grabs your attention from silence and remains confident throughout a 5 second blast, but doesn't maintain that sense of urgency throughout.

So I immediately got to thinking... Are there any video/recordings of an R1T horn? Especially a production truck?

If you've been to an in-person test drive event, did you use the horn? Hear the horn?

Inquiring people who just had One of Those Days™ want to know.

I'm guessing this is a video of the horn in action.

Unfortunately, Instagram is a Facebook company, and therefore I will never have a login for it, and this video is protected by a login.

I'll maybe search for a mirror of it, if I can find out what to search for ?
Just search “Honda horn”. It sounds exactly like that, imo. Not bad, but nothing unique about it. It’s just a generic horn.

This has been my first mod to every car I’ve bought for the last several years:

Has saved me from getting hit by countless fools on their cell phone as they start drifting into my lane. Completely self-contained, but it needs to be spliced into the OEM horn wire and connected direct to a 12V battery source - hope it can be wired into the R1T.

FYI Stebel aren’t what they used to be. The quality has decreased since they moved production.

There is another Italian horn of similar, improved design - made by Marco.
