Usually the phase where they test it internally to help identify issues if any. Once they are done with UAT, they make final release notes etc for that version, stage it so the actual updates can be pushed to all vehicles.

Neighbor (Rivian tester) has had it for a couple weeks. Chromecast was back in it, but it was also in 2024.27.xx, then deleted from his 2024.31.xx. So I'll believe it when the official notes get spilled. I do remember a 4th selectable screen added on the left of the drivers screen, which was a dedicated music app/ what music is playing screen.
