Noticed something cool crossing the border to Canada -- km/h display added to speedometer

Once my Rivian noticed the km/h speed limit sign, it added km/h to the speedometer. Thought it was a nice touch.

Also used the Rivian to Tesla adapter for the first time. Worked flawlessly. I was surprised by how accurate the total range on my R1T was, as long as I put on cruise control.

I too was delighted to find how much more accurate the indicated range on my R1T is than any of the 4 Teslas I’ve owned.

I also just returned from Canada and while there for a month, I changed the speedometer to KPH as the primary indicator and easily changed it back upon return to US

As far as range goes, yes much more accurate than my Tesla. Also I put a canoe on the roof. The trip was short, 14 miles. Range appears to have remained the same. That seems too good to be true but we will see. Others have experienced range with a kayak or canoe?

Probably charged you in litres rather than gallons too. Right?

It’s cool but it’s also something we’ve had on mechanical gauges for decades and on most digital gauges. It should be a given that it is there rather than a pleasant surprise.
