While I appreciate the effort that goes into creating a video like this, I could do with 5 minutes fewer raving about the improved cartoons. ;)

what I want to know is who is the one remaining laggard that, according to electrafi is still sitting on 2024.3.2

?
I don't know, but it has either been totaled or that driver wants a way to turn off the update pop up notification way more than I do.

Did anyone else see this? Apparently this afternoon. Finally!

Review:

Should probably rename this thread to "2024.19.04 update begins rollout today! + Software update review video"

Otherwise we'll be seeing questions over the next week of "why don't I have it yet? ?

I can't wait to see if I can beat my usual efficiency with the new low regen mode. Edge of my seat waiting on that update.

New owner here, and an update virgin, so please excuse the naive questions.

What is the procedure and timing relative to OTA updates? Is there anything that I need to do to get the vehicle prepared for an update? Should I assume that it would be beneficial to park in my driveway, where my R1T has access to my home wifi network? I know that wifi is not essential for the vehicle to get the update, but assume it will allow a better, faster connection.

What about the time/timing involved? Obviously, your Rivian is OOS during the update itself - how long is this typically? There must be some downtime after the update is complete as things percolate through the vehicle and get written to storage/firmware, etc - is this correct and if so, how long typically?

Coincidence that its also investor day and is one of the topics on the agenda?
The pro move would be for RJ to initiate the upload live in the meeting and have a stat showing it going out to the different vehicles and their locations at the time, at least for a few minutes in the background behind him on screen while he talked about the update.

Pretty excited about low regen myself. More excited about that than anything else. My wife refuses to drive the truck because the regen on normal is so aggressive.
