I've been scrolling through some forums and I have noticed that many, many people have a join date of March 10, 2024. Let's be honest here, who joined the forum during or very close to the R2/R3/R3X reveal?

People getting interested in Rivian because of R2 or R3 is a good thing.

Well back in 2015 I just happen to be in line for a boba when I over heard a conversation about a new electric truck. The two people talking were going over names of what they would call it. if my memory serves me right it went from "Truck-E, River-E, 1-Truck-E and one guy said remember that town in Oklahoma VIAN" anyhow I remember saying to my wife out loud would be nice if they had a forum for that truck idea. So yeah thanks for reading this.

Rivian is a portmanteau of the Indian River in Florida.

R. J. and I believe several others (Tony C?) are from Brevard County in east central FL where Rivian as a company was created. The entire coast of Brevard (including Cape Canaveral and the KSC) are in/part of the Indian River Lagoon…
