Just got mine. I'm in Denver and there's not an event scheduled for Denver. I was planning to head to LA to visit that one. The language that it's an invite-only and I might not get one because I'm "too far away" is a real bummer. I've had my pre-order for quite a while (not as long as others) and it's a bit frustrating that I've basically gotten some emails and a charcoal drawing and that's it so far. I really want hands on the vehicle before I plunk down $80k

uh. WTF. What happened to Seattle? And Detroit. And Chicago. Some communication as to why those cities were dropped from the initial list would have been nice.

I was really hoping to hop a flight to attend one of the early events (since I fly for free) but understand they need to keep the event size in check. Otherwise, we'd all show up and overwhelm the first events.

It's obvious they are trying to kill as many birds as possible with as few stones. LA, SF, and NYC are likely #1-3 in terms of pre-order holders so they can start with these cities then add additional tiers as they go. I'm just thrilled that they are starting up some real field marketing and getting these things out into the wild. These boards are also going to fill up with photos, videos, and first-hand accounts soon.
