I think the decision to tease the R3 and the R3X will prove to be a good one for the company as a whole. RJs opening speech mentioned that they are thinking about what the World will be like for our kids kids kids. Plus....its time for that stock price to come back up now...please?

I can't believe Rivian took this swing in a world where everyone is building bigger, more bloated mall cruisers. I can remember perusing this forum in its infancy and seeing photoshops of something like this and thinking, "Yeah, yeah. We all would love an electric WRX fighter, but that will never happen". Well, I'm eating crow and it turns out, it's delicious.

Not only is this a very appealing vehicle in its own right, I feel this gives Rivian some real street cred with car guys. I mean, what's not to love?

I literally give zero shits about the stock price. Unless you're day trading, why does it matter? At this point in the company's growth, anyone buying stock should understand that they are doing so for the returns to come in 5+ years when Rivian is profitable. The company seems to be well led and headed in the right direction, the current stock price doesn't really matter.

Considering the performance R2 will be under 3 seconds my guess is stupid fast….

You buy 1000 shares first and reserve the R2 model so the company stays alive.

Once R2 launches and we get to profitability, R3 will be available to reserve and you can buy another 1000 shares at that time too.

I already have *checks notes* 1200 shares at $16 and just reserved the r2. I am doing my part.?
