You can get an R1T for under 80K if you do large battery and silver color.. it'll come out to 79K ..
That's what we are looking at doing--and then get 3750 deducted from. the price, via the tax credit...right?

IRS has just released the 2024 list of EVs that qualify for federal tax incentive. The R1T and R1S qualify for a credit amount of $3,750 (with a MSRP limit of $80,000).

Also I read that the 2023 fed tax incentive is only good for those households making less than $150k single income and less than $300k in joint married income household.

Is there also a tax write off for the Rivian EV charger installed in your home?

Not sure what it is you are disputing. What CharonPDX describes is the law under IRA.
Actually, I was corrected on another forum. Apparently the draft I saw said they had to be "dealerships," but the final passed law allows direct-sales companies, too. Going to edit my prior comment now.

Does this mean that the r1t credit applies to only 80k of the r1t price (like my r2t was 110k), or does it mean that if the price is over 80k, like mine, I get zero credit? Is my question clear?

If the MSRP is over 80k there is no rebate.

Sorry if this was addressed already, but: Does the IRA tax credit reduce the pre-sales tax purchase price, or is it a post-sales tax credit?

Mine was post sales tax, I got it when I filed my taxes. I assume even if it is handled by the seller it will be a post transaction refund so will be deducted after the final transaction price is completed.
