New tab in Account portal??

Does anybody know what Rivian is adding to the portal?

I think we can all speculate it has to do with purchasing, delivery, and ownership but has anyone seen this tab?

Has anybody noticed this?

The other loading tab at the bottom loads to be a help button linking you to contact information.

Ah yea i saw that load for a split second, its typically where a 2nd vehicle goes if you ordered one.

I didn't dig too deep, but it appears to be some kind of a loader for the menu and not a new tab. I interrupted it while it was in a 'processing' state and it was just loading the support nav:

I think the reason it may have recently become noticeable is because of the recent changes made to incorporate guides into support which may have introduced a slight delay:

I just looked into this, and it is basically the cars you have on order. Under the picture if you hover you will see "R1S 01" or "R1T 01",that is the text that you see loading, and it is set not to show unless you hover.

If you have 2 vehicles, you will see "R1S 01" and then "R1s 02" under it. Its not added functionality, just a simple redesign.

I fully realize that this doesn't matter, but yes you are correct that it will render nav items for multiple vehicle orders however the brief hanging progress indicator identified by the OP pertains to support. The element prior to page load completion looks like:

If you examine the fully rendered page, that element no longer exists. I agree that it is an artifact from a modification to the site, but not interested enough to dig deeper.

A couple of changes I noticed in the past week:

• Dropped the "memberSince" attribute (contained a UTC date when pre-ordered)
• New: "fulfillmentSummaryStatus": "PENDING_FULFILLMENT" - specific to my account
• New: "vehicleId": "01-XXXXXXXXX" (X's are numerical values) - specific to my account
• New: You can enter multiple addresses now (up to 10)
• New: more movement on linked accounts (not visible yet): "Add and manage accounts you have linked to your Rivian Account."
• New: You can save a payment method.
