If life was only about function / utility, we would all be driving around stainless trashcans. Honestly, I don't even hate what it can do or not do, but what were they thinking. Can Tesla invest in a press that adds some kind of shape to the stainless panels, so it looks a little better. I mean, our stainless pan set has some nice contours. Right now, I'll take a 3.0 second R1, just because I have to look it at it every day. If Rivian could shed some weight by introducing lighter battery tech or cut back on all the bloat, so they can add more durable body panels, then I would like it even more.

"They" didn't. The emperor thought it up and everyone either follow or else. https://jalopnik.com/teslas-engineers-hated-the-cybertruck-book-1850829368

I wonder how long before kids start using cyber trucks as a spray painting canvas for graffiti.

I don't know about kids, but I know a 48 year old that would consider it :D

Well, I know I am in the minority, but the silver dumpster is really growing on me. It is the side profile that bothers me the most. I am starting to like the front and rear views.

What I really like is the 173 kWh battery capacity with the supplimental battery installed. It is what I wanted with the Max Pack that Rivian failed to deliver.

I am not saying that I don't like the CT, I do. I just think that it is not as pretty as the R1T.

I met a friendly Tesla employee charging the Cybertruck. He let me take these pictures. (I have Christmas lights on my crossbars haha)
