Hopefully, the number of sightings in the real world starts to take off "in the very near future" (I'm making a concerted effort to avoid using the "S" word going forward. I'll let you know how that's going soon...Ahhh! Dammit!!!).

This is the beating heart of Rivian. More than two thousand people come together every day at our Normal, IL manufacturing campus to build the R1T, R1S and our commercial van. Here you see collaboration across our paint department, body assembly line and general assembly. New vehicles leave the line each day as we prepare for deliveries.

Not a ton of info here but this at least makes me think they are listening to our feedback on being more proactive with comms and providing some pictures and info pushes. Will be interesting to see when the next ones will be or what op-tempo they push out information and pictures to keep the customer base occupied. Good start Rivian, keep it coming.

Looks like they’re sticking with the fabric ”pull loops” for access to underseat storage. Functional I suppose, but makes me question the guy who told us they were benchmarking the interior against the likes of Bentley and Lambo.

Last year, he caused a bit of a stir at an Informa Tech conference when he told attendees Rivian’s electric pickups and SUVs are being benchmarked against Lamborghini, Bentley, Lincoln and Audi
