Today I received my order of the Black Rhino Voltaic 20s in bronze (they are beautiful in person!) which will be going on my Limestone R1S. I already got an earful from my wife after she saw the color so that's now behind me. ? Currently have the 22 darks which I've always liked how they look, but not happy about the tire durability and availability while traveling. Will spare the full story but we received a flat tire in the 22s on our family trip to Disney World after hitting scrap metal on the highway and it pretty much left us stranded due to no tire availability in Valdosta. I'm also hoping to hit some trails with this new wheel setup!

After several weeks of searching I decided on the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT. Since I currently have the stock 22s, getting the Cooper's in 275/60 puts the outer diameter at nearly the same so I won't need a software change. I also like the aggressive side-wall while the tire tread looks more like a road tire pattern. These have a 60k mile warranty which seems higher than normal for all terrain tires. Another member noted they used 60PSI for a trip which resulted in the same efficiency as the stock wheels, although a little bumpy. I'll try to report back my findings.

Wheels: Black Rhino Voltaic in Bronze from Electruck4x4
Tires: Cooper Discoverer AT3 275/60
TPMS: Aftermarket brand (Discount tire carries this brand I believe)
Lug Nuts: Gorilla Conical style (apparently stock lug nuts won't fit, we'll find out)

Installation date is this Wednesday morning. Will update with pictures after they are installed!

Nice choice on wheels and tires. I've run the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT for 24,000 miles now and my report is still the same as my original posts. Nearly identical efficiency at 60psi and road noise hasn't really increased with wear, to this point. Tire wear on 8000 mile rotations has been spot-on.

I really like these tires. Solid off-road, on-road and they look great as well. Photo below shows wear at 22,000 miles on the front.

I really like the look of these. Thanks for sharing - that’s what I’ll do for the next set.

Thanks for the shout-out! They look great in Bronze. Let us know how they work out and if there is anything we can do to help in the future!

How is the ride quality at 60psi?

Im looking at a 120-load nitto recon grappler as well simply because pressure to achieve same load rating is more or less same as OE Scorpions.

If there is a ride quality difference, it's minute. They are A/T tires, but are not noisy and at 60-65psi, the ride quality is excellent (to me).

Why the earful?? I'm also planning on going bronze with my limestone! I think they look great together :)
I agree the color combo is great! I think it took her by surprise mostly. I had to show her some pictures of off road vehicles with bronze wheels to help her understand. She accepts it but I don’t think I won her over yet. ?

Because it's more gold than bronze?

Maybe they are? That picture was in direct morning sunlight so it was bright.

This guy on IG has them in normal light:

Just have to get them dirty! The pics look like different colors.
